The good 1948 Chevy dump/grain truck. 10 ton dump. 1.5 ton truck. Runs and drives, complete truck, barely any rust, surface rust in a few places. Solid frame and undercarriage. Dump works, pto driven pump. headlights work. original paint, tires hold air for about a month and a half and then the rear left will go flat. The only major rust is in the picture of the left cab corner, a spot the size of a dime of rust through, it looks like the door has it too but that is a factory drain hole and not rust. Dash is complete and even the heater works. solid wood on the dump box. Bottoms of doors are solid floor is solid. This truck is really a great find The bad Brakes dont work, they wont hold fluid, I never looked into it. arrow blinkers need new lenses (not hard to do at all). Carb could use some adjusting, possibly a rebuild at this point, however it started today 24 degrees outside within 1 second of holding down the starter pedal. Right side parking light doesnt work (havent looked into it either) The ugly Dent on the front of the hood, seat ripped on driver side, cracked drivers door window and rear window Reason for selling I found an M37 (my dream project) nearby with a plow and 4x4, Im buying that and wont be working on this so I may as well sell it. I can deliver this for 1$ a mile, plus a $75 trailer rent fee that I get charged, up to 260 miles, If you need it delivered along the I35 route and need to go further I may be inclined to deliver all the way down to Texas or along that route of I35 but clear that with me first, because timing will be a factor. I would also have a hotel fee for overnight trips. Must be paid in full prior to delivery, 500 dollar deposit due at time of sale on Ebay.
