Offered for Sale is a pristine low-mileage 1978 300 CD Diesel Coupe. The 123 Chassis and 3.0 litre Diesel are considered to be one of the most dependable and long-lasting chassis/engine combinations, that Mercedes ever offered. A well maintained example typically is known to last three to four hundred thousand miles. The car is in excellent condition inside and out. The interior looks new. The front seats have been recovered in the correct MB-Tex. The rear seat had a new panel installed at the top due to UV discoloring. The carpet, dash, door panels, and map pockets are all in excellent condition. The car still has its original First Aid Kit on the rear shelf. The car has been refinished in the original code 735 “astro silver”. The finish is factory quality! The front and rear rubber around the windshield and rear glass has been replaced. All replacement parts were purchased from Mercedes. The car currently has the painted vintage hubcaps, because I like them better than the original alloy wheels. I have the original wheels if you want them. The Car has the original Becker AM-FM radio that still works. The sunroof works. All windows work , but are slow in cold weather. The AC blows cold. The mechanicals all perform as expected. The glo-plugs have been replaced. If you have been looking for a nice coupe, you really should see this car. The exterior finish and interior are very nice.
