Vehicle Detail
Awesome Mustang For Sale/Sell/Sail Up for sale is my 2000 Mustang GT, with countless mods and over 500hp at the crank. My car has new paint, a top of the line alarm system, front and rear laser jammers, an excellent stereo system, a big assed blower, an interior that is as close to new as you will find in any car, and a totally kick ass remote controlled front license plate. You push a button when hanging out, and everybody trips out and says badass! Times are tight and, as such, I have to sell my baby. If it sounds interesting, read on. Also be advised that there will be no joy rides in my car. If you are a serious buyer I will take you for a ride, you show me the money and then you can drive it. This car sees no abuse, and will not be abused until it is owned by someone else, period. Now, on to the car! It is: A 2000 model Mustang GT, which has a 2003 Cobra hood and front bumper, with appropriate driving lights, a Saleen rear wing, and 35th edition rear plastic. It has optional side quarter window covers, painted to match, which is an excellent way to dramatically change the looks. All this has paint that is less than a year old in Sonic Blue. Were it to be color sanded what little and few imperfections present would result in a show room finish. Last but not least it has those bad ass sequencing tail lights. All right, those are debatably gay, but still cool. As it is, the car is absolutely gorgeous and I get looks and thumbs up on it literally every single time I drive it. I also have the original hood, though reinstallation of that component will raise under hood temperatures by 45 degrees in the summer. The interior is gray and dark charcoal. Gauges are by Aeromotive and the dash cluster, which is a hard to find white face unit with light blue backlighting, is by Simco. Drivers seat is power, console and door trim pieces are painted to match the body. There is a Kenwood Stereo system with JL Audio speakers and woofer, latest and most current model of the Escort ZR4 Laser Shifter, which completely blinds laser guns. This unit is custom mounted in the console underneath the stereo system and looks to be a factory install. It’s hardwired for the Valentine One, which is arguably the best radar detector on the planet.Flaws on the interior? One small blemish on the drivers door panel and a couple of scratches in the tint. Other than that the drivers door mat is starting to show an indention from the heel of the drivers foot. That’s it! Mods: First and foremost is the D1SC Pro Charger, set up as a blow through configuration. This blower is capable of putting out over 800HP on a DOHC setup, with forged bottom end. The current pulley allows the blower to work at half speed, putting out only Nine Pounds of boost to the otherwise stock SOC GT engine. Horse power (I have the dyno sheet)is measured at 442 rwhp and 426 rwtq, as tuned by Travis Franklin of GearHeads Automotive. Excellent shop with numerous records under their belt, and a great reputation as well. This unit has a huge intercooler and piping that is all painted to match the car, with an Accufab plenum helping to deliver the boost! Main point on the blower is that should you desire to move up in power, this blower is the ticket to do so, and you will already have it! The clutch is a Spec 3 and the transmission is a Tremec 3550, with both being in great condition. The SLP Loud Mouth Exhaust with full length headers and x pipe has a sound to it that has chevy guys giving you the thumbs up, as well as high school girls in their V6 Stangs pulling up saying “OMG I want to get that exhaust for my car because I love it”! True stories on both accounts with tons of others to accompany it. Fuel system is via a twin Welbro pumps, which only have about 600 or so miles on them, with steel braided lines and AN fittings return system, FMS 80lb injectors, Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator and fuel rails, and a Glenn’s Performance sumped tank, with a shiny black plastic protective cover! That part is really bitching! Oil recovery tank is also polished aluminum. Suspension? Has that too! Up front you have Strange struts with adjustable Caster/Camber plates. When you read on the internet that Strange struts are noisy, you are reading truth! They are a bit noisy but damned nice. In the rear you also have fully adjustable Strange shocks, a girdle cover and 3:73 gears. Should I say here that the braking system has been upgraded to Cobra calipers and disks, which are slotted and drilled, and have ceramic pads, all having less than 500 miles on them. Wheels are black FR500s, with the rear being 10 inches wide with chrome lip. The fronts are 8 inches wide. Tires are Nitto 555Rs 315/35R17 in the rear and 255/45R17 Nitto 555Rs in the front. Rears have 7/32s of tread and the fronts have 5/32s, though the edges are smooth on the fronts. Turning too fast has it’s price! Coolant system has a body color aluminum reservoir tank, which also has a rare feature, which is the tube that allows you, at a glance, to monitor coolant level. I have also installed a body color aluminum power steering fluid tank. When you look at the pics, try not to laugh at that brand new AutoZone battery! Sadly, when the battery went down on me at Kellers on NW Hwy in Dallas, AZ was the first place I found. Does it help if it was the best one they had? At any rate, you can tell by looking at the car that it has been adult owned and maintained. Top speed that it has seen while I have owned it is about 135, and then only for a few seconds at a time. Much of it’s life has been tooling around town, pissing cops off with the loud exhaust. This car truly has a great sound, in that it is great in traffic, yet sounds like a full on race car under throttle. The last item to touch on, which is important, is mileage. It is currently showing 100,4xx. This is NOT ACTUAL, as when I bought at 82,000 miles the speedometer was reading 60 at 45, which is waaay fast. I have no clue how long this was so, so the mileage is unknown, but definitely under 100,000, This was corrected by purchasing a really hard to get working correctly box from Dallas Mustang, which works flawlessly with a deadly accurate mph reading now. That’s it. Check out my pics, fall in love with it, take my car home with you. Asking $10,295.
