Nice solid condition 2000 Ford Windstar LX, 7 passenger Mini van being sold with NO RESERVE BID and a reasonable starting price and we will sell this van to the highest bidder..This van is in reasonable running condition and is inspected in PA until August 31st, 2012. Could be a good winter ride for someone who is looking to save a special car the wear of winter driving. We are Located in the City of North East, PA. Which is the citys name and not the Location in PA. We are the farthermost city in Northwestern PA and it is 14 miles North of ERIE, PA. Just off the shores of Lake Erie and about 3 miles off the border of Southwestern NY. This van has been owned by one of my best friends for the past 6-7 years and has been a reliable and relatively problem free running vehicle. They do not have a computer and internet access, so I am offerring it for sale for them. They have a free of lien owned tilte to car and it can readily be transfered after purchasing. I am familiar with these Vans because I currently have a 2001 model and also had a 1999 for my wife which we just retired 2 years ago after many years of service. These Windstar mini vans are great front wheel drive cars and we have gone about anywhere with them in our harsh winter snowfalls here in the heart of the snow belt in Northern PA. This van has a great running engine, which has never had any problems and was always properly serviced and oil changed regularly. It had a minor accident a little over a year ago and was professionally repaired and recently underwent several Ford Motor company recalls for some repairs to the existing back axle area and is great condition. It is still running great, owners just wanted to update to a newer vehicle with the winter season comming on. It has a new rebuilt alternater that was installed about a year ago. Back tires are in great shape and front tires are in reasonable condition. Van has just under 110,200 original miles on it and still runs well. Just recently there has ccasiionally there has been a little noticeable movement with the transmission shifting while warming up, but has never caused any problems with driving. It is a smooth running van, has a great heating system and air conditioner works well. It has a working radio and cassete player and there are no obvious major marks or dents on vehicle. Cosmetically the van is solid with only a couple of small areas where the rust is starting to take notice (see photos for the 2 areas) on right rear wheelwell and left back rocker panel area. It has the normal marks of age but no major dents or markings that show much other then the 2 areas in the photos. Underneath is solid and looks in great condition. Car was regularly kept in a garage and was not smoked in. Interior is in nice condition with minimal wear but could use a good cleaning. Still looks nice without any major concerns or noticable markings. No noticeabile marks on glass and car is in great condition for the price we are asking. We are located about 90 miles from Buffalo NY, 120 miles from Pittsburgh, PA and a little over a hundred miles from Cleveland, OH. I don't see any problem with anyone driving this car home once the tiltle and plates are transfered. This is however a Used Vehicle and no warranty is implied or offered. It is Bought as is and no guarantees offered and sale is final after prospective buyer checks it out and title is transfered and sale is concluded. Buyer can make Payment by PAYPAL or can make a deposit of $200 with paypal after winning auction and pay cash upon picking up the car. Payment is expected within 3 days of auction ending. We have a local place here that is close that should be able to do a plate and title transfer during normal business hours Monday-Sat. BUYER pays all Transfers, fees and taxes for the vehicle at the time of transfer.
