Vehicle Detail
A True & Original 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport Only - Only Owned By The Original Owner - A Documented Garage Find Survivor - Up For Auction At 3 Days With No Reserve - Sold To Highest Bidder -______________________ The story behind the Super Sport by the original owner. All of this is backed up by the extensive documentation that has been kept with the car.Logos Yeh & his father, Cheng walked into Floyd Foren Chevrolet, located right off of Motor Mile in Ferndale, Michigan. Logos was 17 years old & had been accepted into University of Michigan. Logos knew he wanted a Camaro and special ordered this Camaro to his liking in 4th week of September 1968'. Since the official school color was Blue, he wanted a triple Blue Camaro. The car cost a total of $3,230 and was paid for in cash by his father as a present. December 10th of 68' - Upon on arrival, Logos went down with his family & had the dealer install the factory spoiler for him. After graduation, Yeh became an automotive engineer and worked for all of "The Big Three" in Detroit. He worked in at The Ford River Rouge Complex, then at the Chevrolet Gear And Axle Plant, and for a stint at the Detroit Chrysler Mountain Engine Plant. During 1968/69/70. The Camaro was his daily driver. Through the 1970's, Logos moved to Virginia, keeping the car garaged and barley driven over the next 10 years. It was repainted only once it's original "Dusk Blue" color in the mid 1980s and any parts that were needed were replaced with the correct GM parts. In 1987, The Camaro made it's way down to Las Vegas, Nevada and stored in the garaged. Buried away for years & was not moved again until July of 2011, when it was brought to Los Angeles & recites now. ________________________ A fully documented True 69' Camaro Super Sport. Number's Matching Drivetrain. Only to have 111,089 original miles. Only to be owned by the original owner since Day 1. The original owner kept all the important dealer paperwork that belong with the Camaro. Including the protect-o-plate, dealer copy of the window sticker, copy of the sales contract, owner's manual & brochure from the dealer. All paperwork match to each other & the Camaro's owner. Also, service records & receipts documenting the mileage. I do have the receipt for the tires that are now on the car. They were installed in 1985. Last time to be registered was 88' & I do have the last registration. Remain's it's original Super Sport drivetrain. Numbers Matching 350/300 L48 Automatic 12 bolt. Been kept bone stock & original it's entire life. A early built 69' Camaro, no X codes. In 85' Logos had the engine/tranny overhauled. It sat from 87' till July 11'. I replaced the gas tank, blew out the fuel lines, rebuilt the original carburetor, new hoses & wires, added a new master cylinder but kept the old one. Added fresh gas & started it right up. I let it idle for about 20 minutes & been driving it on occasion since. Camaro runs/drives/shifts & brakes just fine. The appearance under the hood was kept original. Stock air cleaner & valve covers. The rare to see factory chalk marking "PTB" is still located on the firewall. The car looks great and is very original. The paint are good quality and in amazing shape for a 20-plus year old paint job. The original vinyl top is in beautiful shape. Looks as good as in photos as in person. It was preserved most of it's life in a garage. Last 25 years, it remained in a Nevada garaged. Special ordered color combination Dusk Blue, Blue standard interior & Blue Vinyl top. Will be hard to find another factory triple Blue Camaro. All the undercarriage is original & has not been restored. Under the top is solid but has some minor dings ( during storage ). It can really grab attention any time of the day. The interior remains all original from the dash pad to the rear seat shelf. It has never restored or taken apart. The interior is also in great shape but does show a bit of typical Camaro wear & tear. Factory buckets & console, am radio & steering wheel. The interior is complete & original.__________________________________________ Inspection & Appraiser Details This Camaro was inspected & appraised by Richard Feibush on 12/21/11.
