993 Glass Top Targa Tiptronic Silver / Red Interior This car is offered by a private owner - 2nd owner of the car. 1998 is the last year of the air cooled engine. Not many of these models were made, I understand around 120 in the US. Silver on Red is possibly one of the most desirable color combinations. Key features include: Tiptronic Motor Sound Option HiFi Stereo This car has a refurbished title. It was hit in the front in December 2002. Not much actual damage was done, but an influential 1st owner was able to have the vehicle declared totaled (as I would have requested). As I mentioned the car was hit in the front. Fenders, hood, bumper, suspension were all replaced - the windshield and all glass was undamaged. The repair is an excellent job. I had the car inspected prior to buying, and after buying at my local Porsche shop. On a lift, the car looks very good (see photo below). Watch a YouTube video. A carfax will show three owners. The dealer I bought it from had to title it. I have owned the car since 2005. It has been garage kept, with no problems since I have owned. The car has been maintained at a local Porsche shop (non-dealer) - he is a former Porsche technician from the factory in Germany.
