This truck was my father's, when he passed in 11/97, became my mother's who passed in 12/10, and was never transferred to any one elses name. My father bought it brand new from Sir Walter Chevrolet in North Carolina. It literally is 'the little old lady's truck'. It has been garaged kept most of its life. I have had it since '04. and did not use it at all, was kept in my garage. It has not been customized or molested from any factory condition since its purchase. Comes with all original paperwork. The truck is not perfect, nothing this old is. It has some minor dings and scratches and blemishes on the paint. But there is no rust breaking through the paint on the lower part of the body anywhere. The windows roll up slowly, have not been used in awhile, and the ac will need charging. Again, the truck has just been sitting in the garage, and we did get it running. We did not buff and polish it for the pictures, just washed it. It has some small splits on the dash (pictured) and the headliner is sagging. The original seat has a little wear on the driver's side. We replaced a fuel pump to get it running, in one tank only, it has dual tanks. The four wheel drive system and the motor all work. The undercarriage of the truck shows it's never been through a mud sling from a rabid teenager. We spent 1K just to get it up and running for the sale so you can hear the motor purr, and test the drive train. The throttle body was rebuilt, fuel pump replaced, lines cleaned and new battery installed. Tires bought in '04, and haven't been anywhere except garage. The actual mileage on the truck is original miles. Treated like a Sunday driver all its life by both my father and mother, who were in their sixties when he bought it. One of the four children needs some help, and this treasure will be sold to the highest bidder. Any and all questions are welcome. We don't sell vehicles often, but this one is special.
