Up for auction is my 1984 corvette project. I'm moving out of state and need the money and don't have the time for it anymore. I bought it a year ago not running and in really sorry shape. I pulled the motor out first and checked it. It passed with a clean bill of health and I re-gasketed the whole motor. Degreased and painted it. The cylinders, pistons, rod and main bearings looked great. I put a comp cams Mutha thumper cam, lifters and comp valve springs in along with a cloyes double - roller timing set. new standard oil pump. Edelbrock performer intake and Holley 600 cfm carb. I cleaned painted and detailed the entire engine and engine bay. All paints are POR 20 ceramic paint and eastwood aluma-blast paints. all very nice and durable. Exhaust manifolds have had air tubes cut off and welded. Cleaned painted and port matched to the heads. Look just like shorty headers. Cooling fan has adjustable thermostat switch. Custom made AIR pump by-pass pulley that uses the stock belt. New electric fuel pump. Trans is stock and shifts good and firm. Haven't driven it much but feels very strong !! Has muffler delete pipes and no converter, it sounds very good!! Very mean ! cams very hard at idle and is very responsive ! motor has not been tuned yet just set well enough to run around the driveway. Has 89 model wheels with brand new KUHMO tires 275-50-17. wheels have been polished and look nice but have some rash on the lip but decent.Onto the body work---- the car was blown mostly apart and sanded down to original primer to fix some wrong doing that was done by a previous owner. All low spots fixed and filled, everthing on the car EXCEPT for the doors and roof panel are primed with a high build EURO brand primer. the doors are shot with a rattle can primer just seal up some of the bare spots for storage. doors need to finished and primed. I have a half of a gallon of the primer and activator to go with the car to finish. Won't take much to finish and paint the car. The interior ----- seats have been recovered with iggys two tone slip covers, and has matching corvette arm rest and leather shift boot. Dash is clean and intact.Has very nice cd player stereo that is xm ready. cluster works when it wants to and when it does light up everything seems to be working correctly. Plenty of places that fix those. Needs carpet to be nice. Needs weather stripping and window wipes. door panels are decent but need carpet on the lower part. windshield is cracked. Needs a little TLC but will make a very nice fun car. Moving out of state right after the first so if it can't be picked up by then as long as its paid in full I can have it stored til you can get it.
