1973 LINCOLN TOWN CAR This is a rare 73 Town Car survivor. It was the cream of the crop at his days, especially at this color combo, black exterior with beige interior. It is loaded with all usually power options from the luxury Lincolns. It shows only 76.500 miles at the odometer, which I really believe are original because the overall conditions from the car, otherwise I can not proof that. It is in very good shape for his age, with an very straight body, straight front bumper (rear bumper does have a small dent by wrecking), original paint, and only few minor rust spots. The paint is faded but should shine again with some buffing job. The interior is in overall pretty good conditions, without tears or rips, door panels are like new, and even the dash pad is perfect, without cracks. Just need a cleaning job and will appear like new. It ran perfect when was parked around one year and a half ago, but had an leak at the transmission front seal. Now it will need a new battery too, but with the battery and some fuel drops into the carburetor, the dream 460 big block engine will purr quick and strong again! I found it an very nice car, whit a wonderful color combo: black with the tan interior, and was planning to restore it, as it should be an easy job as it don’t has to much things to do on it. Otherwise things changed and now is time to downsizing, and it deserves a better home where someone has the right time to get over it. It does haves a clear title. These cars from the early seventies are become to be rare to find nowadays, especially in factory untouched conditions like this. And with some work (and maybe an beauty set of 20” rims) this black beauty will take all the looks around ! ;-) Would like to see it go to the right hands, who can bring it back to his shinny days, that I feel it does have more good reliable years remaining on it!
