Description: BEAUTIFUL 2005 ASTON MARTIN DB-9 COUPE IN TITANIUM SILVER WITH PHANTOM GREY LEATHER INTERIOR Full Aston Martin Service History (FAMSH) Services are up to date and stamped in book. All service performed by Aston Martin. Inspections are welcome and I will make the car available to the inspector of your choice. Purchased from Aston Martin of Atlanta in Feb 2010. I am the second owner and it has been a wonderful car. This is my third Aston, after a DB7 Vantage coupe, and a V8 Vantage. Both were great. If you are familiar with the DB7, the DB9 moves the game forward significantly. If you are familiar with the V8, the DB9 is similar but takes power, ride, and comfort to a new level. The DB9 is an awesome GT and a very capable sports car. This was my daily driver whenever the weather was nice and I did not have to carry more than one passenger. (There are rear seats but check them in person before you tout that fact to your spouse if arguing the DB9 is 'practical' family transportation.) The paddle shift transmission is great, allowing you to cruise in Drive as a pure automatic or to shift manually with the paddles. Selecting Sport mode will force the transmission to hold gear until you tell it to upshift making it as close to manual as you can get with an automatic 'box. I've found it very handy in heavy traffic around Atlanta. I will miss the DB9 dearly. Its lines are ageless. It's been very reliable. The performance is exhilirating. It gets compliments every where it goes: men, women, children - all seem to love this car even when they have no idea what it is. I'm selling as it's probably time to look for something different. Both Keys Owners Manual Disclosure: I was informed during the last service at the end of november that I have a leak on the right rear shock and that it will need to be replaced soon. Aston recommends replacing shocks in pairs and if the buyer wishes I will have the rear shocks replaced at my cost prior to delivery. The car drives fine and if you would rather take delivery 'as is' I will factor the repair cost into the sales price. Tires have > 80% tread life (I had two of the leather dash panels exchanged for OEM replacements by Aston Martin at purchase as a result of the leather pulling away from the underlying panel. This is a common ocurrence on these cars and you will want to pay attention to this on any car you are considering. There is nothing else I can think to note. Car runs and drives as it should. All mechanical components (excepting shock noted above) are in excellent condition. All electrical components work as intended. Clear windshield - original and no chips, cracks, or dings. All panels are original and there is no paintwork on car. There are no scratches in the paint. There are no tears in the leather. The driver's side seat bolster is still in great condition. There are no other 'hidden' items that I know about and am not telling you. I do not sell a lot on eBay but what I do sell is honestly represented: check my feedback.
