I am selling a rare automatic 1985 Mercedes 190D , 2.2 , 4 cylinders diesel engine, low mileage vehicle. The odometer just turned 183300 miles . It is maroon /burgundy color with beige/silver interior, driver seat is worn and dash has few cracks other than that the interior looks good. It has the wood trim on the dash (see pics). Runs and drives, although it has not been driven on a through test drive since is not registered. It has power windows/seats/sunroof, CD player, heat works , interior in good condition for the year with silver door panels and the rest beige color , exterior has normal wear and tear for a car 26 years old. It has some rust by the right rear wheel and jack points (very common on Mercedes cars), but in my opinion is really not bad for a car 26 years old. This car spent half its life in the south. Undercarriage looks good. It has plug-in ENGINE WARMER CABLE, rare option and also it has the engine shields, plastic covers underneath. Original Mercedes wheels. It comes with a thick stack of maintenance records and stamps in the maintenance booklet; looks like this car was taken care of mechanically over the many years. It has brand new 4 glow plugs and new return hoses for injectors. It starts without problems in freezing weather without pluging it in . Good oil pressure, good temperature, one power window not working. The engine runs very very quiet, I did not see excesive smoke on the startup, there is a noise under the car when moving/driving. With a little care this will be a great money saving car, especially in this economy. These are getting harder and harder to find with decent mileage. No extra fees or charges!
