I own a professional repair shop and I bought this cruiser from the original owner for a fun project. He bought it new here in Tucson, Arizona in 1972. It has been stored in his garage for the last 10 years with a blown engine. Finally after bugging him for three years he decided to sell it to me to make room in his garage. We went through everything mechanical and painted the bumpers but the body is rust free (except surface rust on part of floor board)and still has the original paint. It has the original PTO WINCH with new cable. New door and window seals, new upholstery and new BFG's we will mount and balance before delivery. We went through everything and where we could clean up and save the original parts, we did, but where we needed to we installed new parts. ie; we replaced all the brake wheel cylinders and master cylinder and turned the drums. The front end is tight and aligned. We put in new spring bushings, motor mounts fuel pump and muffler. We had the gas tank and radiator professionally cleaned. (no rust, just goop from sitting so long) The engine is a low time engine. We checked the rod bearings and they look new and are still standard. The hone marks in the cylinder walls are still very well defined. We installed new gaskets and rear main seal. We didn't need to but we completely rebuilt the rear diff carrier. We put new seals and Lucas 90w gear oil in the differentials, transmission, transfer case, PTO and winch. We even have the original tool pouch, jack, owners manual, service manual and brochures. There is slight body damage in the LF fender and the hood. We have three of the original wheels and two of the original hub caps.
