It is meant to accelerate and swing around curves like a sports car, while giving you the comfortable ride and interior you would expect from an out and out luxury vehicle. It is meant to cosset you in elegance, and give you every elaborate feature you could possibly want. You probably wouldn't want to go off-road with it, but just in case you try there is a button on the dash that lets you raise it an extra inch so it won't get caught up on high terrain. Under the Hood The S430 holds a 275-hp, 4.3-liter V-8. A seven-speed-tiptronic transmission goes into rear-wheel-drive. Safety Side-impact airbags are installed in each door. Side curtain-type airbags deploy from the roofline to protect occupants' heads. An Electronic Stability Program stability system combines traction control with lateral skid-control technology. This particular Mercedes-Benz S430 is in great shape. The vehicle is mechanically sound and the interior looks nice. The engine sounds great, it handles and drives superbly and has no problem developing high speeds. Car runs straight as an arrow with NEW tires. When we bought the car at the auction, SRS light was ON so the milage was NOT VISABLE. That is why the milage was anounced as UNKNOWN at the auction. We fixed the SRS module and the milage is shown just fine 115,073. The car can be exported, transferred and registered in any state. Car runns great and engine, transmission and AC are 100% great, as well as all windows work, but some lights just like to stay ON on some of these cars :-(.
