This is Desert Red which is a super rare color to find on the S class. The inside is Parchment (light tan) Mercedes Benz Text seats that hold up so well as you can see. The Autocheck is clean and the car has been registered in NY but I was told the car spent it's time in Florida and that is why it is so clean! There is not a rust bubble on this car. The 3.8 liter V-8 motor has the double timing chain. The transmission shifts like BRAND NEW through all of the gears. The brakes 1/2 worn and work just as they should. The suspension feels great. Steers tight, bumps are absorbed properly and there is no pulling or noise in the ball joints. This one has coil springs and shocks all of the way around and the car sits up perfect. The spare has never hit the ground. The first aid kit is present. I have the books and the original window sticker showing the $43,630 window sticker in 1985! The motor is quiet and clean as can be. The motor has very nice power, is not skipping, or overheating. This car runs, drives and idles perfectly. The engine compartment is so clean on this car as you will see in the pictures. The exhaust is nice and clean and the rear muffler still has the sticker on it. The cap, rotor, and air cleaner are nice and clean. The carpets, door panels, headliner, visors, rear deck and dash are so clean in this car it's like a blast from the past. The heating system works properly and comes out where it should. The air conditioning system is retrofitted to the R134 air condition system and recieved new seals on the compressor and lines. The A/C system works properly with nice cold air conditioning. The wipers and squirters work properly. All 4 windows are power and all work (they even go all the way down in the back). The power central locking system works locking and unlocking the doors, trunk and gas door properly. The power sunroof works as it should. Horn works. The radio is an Alpine of the vintage of the car and works properly. CD player part is a nice upgrade and it sounds comparable to the factory radio. The power seats in the front work as they should. The seats feel like new and are very comfortable!! The dash is in excellent condition as you can see. The zebrano wood trim is excellent with the exception of the glove box door wood that is curling from the Florida heat. The piece that is next to it is in the glove box and needs to be reglued. The rest of the wood is excellent. The chrome is brilliant on this car! The grill shows as new, the tops of the bumpers are excellent. There are a few door dings that need to be worked out on the passenger side. I left them alone so an expert can finesse these things out without having to paint the panel. You will love how clean the car is. The tires are old and due to be replaced on the front and very nice on the rear. The alloy wheels show some color fading but are not all scuffed up. The trunk compartment is spotless with a perfect alloy spare with tire never down and jacking equipment. The trunk smells nice and clean. The car was garage kept. The trunk lid, lower drivers side front door and back of the roof edge have been re-painted. The rest is all original. All of the lights work properly including the yellow fog lights! The cruise control and power antenna are not working. The bottom looks nice and clean as you can see. This car is ready to drive across the Country right now and is a car that can be driven as a daily driver so be ready for a treat! You do not want to miss this car.
