Up for auction is this first year Riviera 1963. The car is dusty in some pictures. Paint is solid but not a good paint job. You may want to repaint the car. It's original color was burgandy. Riviera has the 425 nail head motor with the 2 speed automatic trans.465 on air cleaner (j code on motor) 360 horse power. Possi rear end, power windows,but not side vents, they are cranks,power drum brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, crusie control, leather bucket seats,that were died black at some time,fine for rat ride or daily driver, floor console, after market(Jc Penny)a/c, and has the auto dimmer for the lights. Car has new tires!Head linner is mint,door panels are in great shape. A.M.Radio does work!The Riv motor is Strong! Does not smoke or tic. Has had a new oil change. Transmission shifts perfect! I have driven the car on the road this week, drove it up to 75 miles per hour. as a test drive,a total of 8 miles .Car drives very stright down the road. That being said, the carb is old and needs rebuilt. Repeat, carb needs rebuilt. It stalls out a lot. Car sat for many years. Gas tank was pulled, cleaned out and reinstalled. This car is NOT road worthy until the following is addressed: carb needs replaced, brakes work but rotors need turned, and the radiator was plugged from a leak but I believe the radiator would need replaced. Replace the two and turn the drums and you would have a road-worthy car. Car is being sold "AS IS", no warranties, refunds, or exchanes. This is being sold as a restoration classic, NOT a daily driver. The car has had body work done to it. The paint job isn't the greatest.20 footer. There are no cracks in the glass and all power windows work. From what I can tell, there was body work done on the lower fenders and maybe one lower back quarter. The stainless is all in good shape. Bumper chrome is a little faded but okay for a driver. The frame is solid. It is an "X" frame. The floor pans have been patched and still needs more work by the bracing of where the bucket seats attach. common on these,so i've bin told.Great Father son project,parts car,tinker toy,rat ride,Car is no show car,has rust,its 50. No reserve! Again, car is being sold "AS IS" as a 50 year old resto classic, NOT a daily driver. Does have the full set of turbine hub caps with spinners. NADA value is $40,000 in mint condition. This is obviously not a mint condition car so I'm selling at no reserve. A $500 deposit is due immediately at end of auction. Balance is due within three (3) days at end of auction.
