Hello, you are bidding on a 1975 vw super beetle convertible. I've had this vehicle since my college days, from 1989. I bought it from an insurance company. This was my daily ride on those days, and after graduating I began to put it back together. It has always been in my garage, and there are no rust spots, that I can honestly see. I had no plans of selling this vehicle, but now it has to go. The bad: It has no radio, the front end shakes when passing 50 mph (balancing ???), has a small tear on the drivers seat, it leaks a couple of oil drops from the oil change cap at the bottom of the engine. Bumper shocks must replaced or reworked. The good: It is pearl white with clear coat, with no dents or scratches. Most of the seals have been replaced. All lights and signals work, and not a single lens is cracked. It is fuel injection, and does not have to smogged, at least not in California. All rims are MP road wheels, not a scrach on any of them. All tires are Pirelli P400, with 95% thread left in them. I have the fifth matching mp wheel and tire, which are brand new (never ever mounted). The engine works great, and runs really smooth. All suspension bushings are tight, and so is the steering damper. Running boards are flawless, and so are the trim lines. The interior is an 8. The tags on the license plates have expired but I do have a PNO from the DMV, so there are no penalties pending. It has an alarm.
