1939 PACKARD 120 TOURING SEDAN SEE over 100 PICTURES HERE: http://packard120a.shutterfly.com This car was purchased a couple years ago in Massachusetts. It had already received a mechanical overhaul, as well as a high dollar paint job. Then the restoration stalled. Please review the pictures at the Shutterfly website for complete details. It has recent tires, tubes, brakes, wheel cylinders, exhaust, suspension work, steering center link, wiring harness partially installed, converted to 12 volt. It runs and drives, stops and shifts well. It appears to have overdrive but I have not tried it out. It has only been driven about 30 miles since I bought it. It still has some old gas in it and although it fires right up (automatic choke works perfectly), it runs smooth at idle but rough under load. The paint job must have been expensive. It is very nice. But it is not a new paint job - the car does have some minor defects in the paint from storage. One rain gutter shows staining at the rear of the car. On the bottom of the radiator shroud some paint has lifted off. The front passenger door has 4 dimples, but the paint is not broken. There are some other very minor defects. The interior has been left untouched, with the exception of some new wiring. The headliner has been removed. Needs some glass and chrome work. The only things I know that are missing is the molding that runs beside the running boards, and the molding for the cowl vent. The running boards need to be covered. This car has overdrive, radio, and heater. Please look carefully at the pictures. Not pictured is the id plate, but I have it at my shop, and it matches the title.
