Never before offered for public sale-Unrestored 1971 340 Cuda. It has the numbers matching factory original engine and transmission. Runs and drives really well although the factory disc brakes are a little weak. The engine and transmission were both rebuilt in the early 90`s. The engine is basically stock with the exception of a larger cam which I believe is a Direct connection Street Hemi grind. The engine, transmission and power steering have minor leaks from sitting. Headers were also added and I do not have the original manifolds. I replaced the gas tank and cleaned out the fuel lines. It was originally a grayish blue color- I believe B2. You can see the original color in the trunk photos. The color change was done in the early 90`s. The paint is showing its age with chipping and minor rust around the wheel wells, etc. -see photos. The drivers side floor pan needs to be replaced. The frame rails look solid with surface rust. I DO NOT HAVE THE FENDER TAG- it was misplaced by the previous owner. I have owned this car for approximately 10 years and i know the previous 3 owners. I have kept it in dry storage and the previous owner had it stored in a barn. I did service work on it in the late 70`s when I was a technician at a Chrysler dealer in Bowling Green,Ky.and it was still being used as daily transportation. This is a nicely optioned unrestored 340 Cuda .
