I purchased it in 2002 when it had 49k miles. I immediately had the truck Ziebarted and had a Rhino liner installed. I have the truck underbody resprayed and the truck professionally detailed annually (just completed 12-8-2011). All fluids are changed bi-annually, including differentials, etc. The truck has never been wrecked except the front bumper and passenger mirror, which was replaced after a minor deer collision, but all body panels are original. All the paint is original except some work on the driver's side that was professionally done after someone keyed the door, there are a few minor touch ups on the bottoms of the rocker panels. The body, paint, and interior are excellent, especially for it's age. The tailgate does have some mars on the paint from everyday use. There is some minor wear on the driver's seat from entering/exiting the vehicle. I installed a strobe kit, aftermarket cd player, speakers, and satellite radio (all stay with the truck.) Truck looks as good in person as it does in the pictures. NON-SMOKER. Mechanical Condition: This truck runs and drives excellent, very smooth and comfortable, brakes and steers near perfect. Some recent mechanical updates include: fuel pump, front brakes, power steering pump and spark plugs. I put on new Firestone AT tires last Fall which now have about 15k miles on them, and rotated regularly. I'd estimate 70% of the miles are highway miles, as I live in a rural area. The 4 wheel drive components all function properly. The engine does not burn or use oil. Now, keep in mind, with 200k miles, there are a few minor mechanical things to mention, but do NOT affect the safety, driveability, and reliability of the vehicle. The AC has not been recharged for a few years. The compressor and accumulator were replaced several years ago, and they function fine, but one Winter the charge ran out and I never bothered to recharge again. The power steering pump is fairly new, but has a bit of a whurring sound. It functions fine, and Napa told me that unless there was a mechanical issue, they couldn't replace it under warranty for me. There is a minor engine oil drip, but nothing that requires fluid monitoring or repair. The engine bearings have a very brief and minor clatter at cold start-ups, but disappears quickly and completely as the engine warms. I also have been putting out code P1037, O2 sensor behind converter on driver's side. I've replaced the sensor and plugs, but it still comes back occasionally. Extras: I have an extra front bumper, headlight enclosures, fan clutch, O2 Sensor, serpentine belt and Haynes manual that will go with the truck. I recently bought a crew cab truck to accommodate the longer legs of my children, which is why I am selling this truck. This truck is used but not abused and maintained regularly, and very comfortable to drive. I am NOT a car dealer and have disclosed as much information as possible.
