Up for you consideration is by far the absolute cleanest and best running 2003 Chevy S-10 on the planet. This truck was my next door neighbors ride for the last 8 years, I was there when he pulled it in his garage for the first time from the Chevy dealer. This guy really babied this truck like I've never seen before. Waxed it every two months, had it professionally twice a year and always took it to the Chevy dealer to get it serviced. The guy had a super long commute, Orange County to San Diego (about 75 miles each way) so the miles that are on it are mostly highway miles. I always told him that when it's time for him to give it up, run it by me first. Well..... this July I was on vacation with my family, and to my dismay when I returned home there was something different in his garage and the yellow S-10 was nowhere to be found. I shot over to his house and said "What happened to my truck?" He looked down at his feet, told me that he tried getting a hold of me and that his wife had finally forced him to trade it in for something more subtle. That was the bad news. the good news was he just traded it in about 3 hours earlier. So I got the name of the Chevy dealer he traded it in to and quickly went down there to see if there was a chance I could save my little yellow truck. After two hours of arm wrestling with the used car manager at the dealer, he agreed to resell it to me. Needless to say I had a pay a whole helluva lot more for it, plus taxes etc. but it was worth the effort. I drove my neighbors old truck home that night and it was finally mine. The truck was and is virtually flawless, I mean the interior looks like it has never been sat in and the paint is just as nice as when it was first purchased. The factory Rally Stripes just add to the cool factor of this truck. Fast forward 4 months and here I am, almost in the same position as my poor neighbor. My wife has been barking at me about needing a second truck and how low the bank account has been recently. In a compromise to save my marriage and keep a roof over our heads, here is my little yellow S-10 up for auction on eBay. A sad day indeed, but I have to do what I have to do. Needless to say, it's never seen snow and it's only been in the rain a few times over the past 8 years. Always garaged. It's just had it's 120k service, the brakes are brand new, the belts and hoses are fresh too. Also, after talking to my neighbor, it turns out he's only run MOBIL 1 synthetic oil in the truck from day one and changed it every 5000 miles. He never ran the truck hard, it's easy to see that in the way this runs and looks. The only thing I'd consider to not be perfect on this truck is the front bumper where it shows rock chips from the highway. You can probably find a few trucks out there with fewer miles, you can probably find one for less money than what this will sell for. But I can assure you that you will not find one this nice, with all these options that has been as taken care of as this truck.
