This well maintained, low mileage, always garaged, never tracked 1990 911 964 Carrera 4 Targa, 5 speed manual is in excellent shape both inside and out. This car represents a superb example of both performance and cosmetic beauty as one of the last classic look 911 models Porsche ever made. The car is owned by a Porsche Club of America member and current on all services. It has a new battery, distributor caps and belt, all of which were installed within the last 150 miles. Prior to being stored in South Carolina (May 2011) the vehicle has been maintained by AtSpeed Motorsports in Hanover, Maryland. The Targa Top was refurbished 4 years ago, and all rubber seals for the top and doors have been replaced within the past 3 years to seal up the cabin. Upgrades include 4 new Michelin Pilot Sport tires with less than 4,000 miles, a new 964 clutch kit, catalytic converter, Fabspeed Exhaust, Rennline strut tower brace, K&N air filter and cross drilled rotors. The stock radio has been replaced with an Alpine CDA-9883 radio (single disc CD player and MP3 jack). This targa comes with complete original tool kit, compressor, unused space saver spare tire, manuals, and Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche Cars North America. There are only three minor issues that I am aware of with the car. - The air conditioning system does not blow cold air and will need to be charged if it is to be utilized. (Of course this is only a problem if you are not driving around town without taking the targa top off...) - There is a small blemish on the drivers side rear fender (included in the photos). - Slight curb rash on the drivers side rear rim (included in the photos). I am selling the car because I do not drive it (too nice to put on the track) and it spends too much time in the garage. The car is located with my folks in Loris, South Carolina (close to Myrtle Beach) if you wish to see it prior to the end of this auction.
