Vehicle Detail
This Bronco was sold to a young fellow who probably didn't have the tools or the place to work on it, so I returned his money. Therefore I am re-listing it. Anyone bidding should understand that while I have replaced many parts, there may be other work needed, and that I cannot guarantee it will be trouble free. Please consider this as a project car. 1990 Ford Bronco Has a professionally rebuilt 5.0 V-8 engine with about 72,000 miles on it. A Jasper professionally rebuilt C-6 transmission with about 72,000 miles A Jasper professionally rebuilt 4x4 transfer case unit installed with the transmission Rear end has been professionally rebuilt at a local shop The engine, trans, xfer case had all been professionally installed at local repair shops. New floor shift installed Good tires with only 4000 miles use New battery a month ago Stainless steel brake lines Front end work has been professionally done Front hubs converted to manual from the factory automatic which had problems I have owned this truck since the ‘90s, and intended to restore it during my retirement. I had all the work done while I was still driving it to work. Most of the mileage was my 100 mile per day commute down the toll way. I purchased patch panels and Lund running boards for it. It is rusty, but at this age, most of them are, or will soon be rusty. I figured that I could patch it, instead of buying something else that would just rust as soon as I drove it home. However, I have contracted Rheumatoid Arthritis. The Arthritis has limited my ability to do the patch work that I wanted to do on the vehicle. I did install one rocker panel on the driver’s side, but that work convinced me that I could not finish the job. It would be nice if someone who bought it did finish the job, but someone might just want to attach a plow to it and make some money. The floor shift should allow the faster shifts that are usually needed for plowing. The 4x4 unit engages well, the heat works, the AC does not. I would not be selling it if I thought that I could finish the work, but my loss is somebody else’s gain.
