We are closing the garage for the winter as Doyle is taking a full time job in another body shop and my baby has to go to make room for another project I want to do - a 36 Ford Panel Truck. Please look at all the pictures closely. It would be easier for me to list what hasn't been done to my truck. As I said, this is my personal project that we started almost 2 years ago. I had 4 trucks at the time and we pulled the best from all of them. So here goes from front to back - all new bumpers and chrome throughout - new front inner and outer fenders and core support, new inner and outer rockers on a really nice cab with no rust over the new windshield. all new rubber throughout, new tach dash, new tilt wheel, new factory air using an original factory air dash, new headliner, new bucket seat covers and cleaned up console, floor covered in hush mat and all new carpet including gas tank and kick panels and bottom of doors. Complete cab off - with all new cab mounts and rubber. New bed mounts and check out that one of a kind - antique solid Kentucky Cherry bed with new strips. The original AM radio is not hooked up, installed just for looks. Nothing on this truck has not been touched more than once - we call her " El Diablo" as everything that could go wrong has and we have done a lot of things 2-3 times to get it the way I wanted it - to picky. There is just to much to list new from the heavy duty front roll bar to the new adjustable pan hard bar in the back. We did not have time to replace the rear end so it's a one lunger. Needs a nice posi - and Yes this is a 5 lug disc brake front end truck. There ain't much I would apologize on with this truck - even had custom original color 60% red paint mixed to paint the inside at $129 quart. Check out the custom taillights - you may not like them but we thought they set it off - 39 Ford blue dots. Drive train - Fresh 1973 454 - new Lunati cam, lifters and push rods - heads were just completely rebuilt by the pros at Dixie Motor in Middlesboro, Kentucky 3 weeks ago. Aluminum intake, Holley 650 carb, new coated headers, new aluminum radiator - heck it's all new - and yes new - fresh built turbo 350 with shift kit and 2000 stall. What we haven't got to yet - Truck needs new door glass as it's the original and just is not nice enough for the truck. Also needs the window regulator for the drivers door. Last but not least - the new tach I got from Brothers did not work and I am ordering a new one Monday and it will go with the truck. The new back bumper does not suit me either as it came in slightly warped but might straighten out. Just want to point out any problems. The exhaust I am also not happy with as the guy that did it messed it up. Supposed to put flowmasters on it and used the knock off's and got the pipes to close to the drive shaft. Should be re-done and the truck is way to quite anyway. Leave that to you. Also I have not received the new chrome gas cap, will be included. Yes new rubber around gas inlet. All new door rubber, weather striping, new window fuzzies and all - If I forgot anything call and ask me or Doyle. Brothers and Kenny's truck parts will miss me as I spent a ton with them on this truck. I quit keeping track of the money I spent building a 67 truck with every factory option I would have wanted on a truck if I ordered a new one as I stopped at over 10 grand. Sure some of this is 67 to 72 but it's one heck of a truck. I am sitting a reserve lower than what I spent as I want to start on my new 36 project. My lose is your gain. This truck is not perfect but I built it to hit the road not be some trailer queen. There are a couple of minor spots on the paint , 2 gallons of Eastwood Satin Black, but does not detract from the look. Tires and wheels are brand new - 0 miles - Boss 338's , 18 X 8's all the way around with all new rubber - 0 miles. All new suspension CCP static drop, all new exhaust. This would be one heck of a truck to put air bags on but I will leave that to you. Please call Doyle at 606-260-1172 with any questions, email me or call me at 606-309-4911. I really hate to sell my baby but that's life. I'll never take on another project like this from the ground up. NOW THE FINE PRINT - $250 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT DUE AT AUCTION END AND PAYMENT DUE IN FULL WITHIN 7 DAYS -. I WILL TAKE PAYMENT IN FULL THROUGH MY PAYPAL, CASHIERS CHECK OR MONEY ORDER. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU BRING A TRAILER AS THIS TRUCK HAS ONLY BEEN DRIVEN ABOUT 3 MILES AND WILL NEED TO BE RUN AROUND TOWN TO GET THE BUGS OUT. OH YEAH I ALMOST FORGOT - THE FRONT END WILL NEED TO BE LINED UP BEFORE DRIVING OR YOUR GONNA BURN UP A $300 SET OF TIRES. I HAVE A 1967 CLEAR TITLE IN MY NAME READY TO TRANSFER TO THE NEW OWNER. To my friends serving our country overseas: We have 3 vehicles we are holding for servicemen in Afghanistan and Iraq until they get back home and I will be happy to store my truck inside for you if you want to bid as long as you are prepared to make payment in full within the 7 day rules. We want to work with our Freedom fighters in any way we can. While here check out our other auctions including a nice rat rod project 1961 GMC Suburban and a really clean 1997 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic. With Doyle taking a full time job during hard times we are forced to sell off some projects that we really don't want to sell but have to make it through these tough times. Truck is located in LONDON, KENTUCKY right on I-75 60 Miles south of Lexington and 100 Miles north of Knoxville. We can meet you at the truck stop in London and assist with loading or store until you can get here - inside storage for up to 6-7 months.
