Offered here is a nice straight - not messed with - 1961 Suburban or Carryall - whichever you want to call it. I believe this one belonged to Santa Clause as there is plenty of room in it to haul all the presents. Probably owned at one time by some little old lady and never drive up hill , and of course like every old vehicle we look at it was running when parked 20 years ago- before someone stole the motor- just joking. All the glass is in good shape and complete except the windshield which is cracked - cheap to replace. NO motor or trans but it is set up with small block Chevy motor mounts and even has the exhaust manifolds in place hooked to complete dual exhaust. The drive shaft and gas tank is here also. Has nice Rally wheels and good rubber. Check out the rare fold up jump seat in the front to allow passengers to get in the original back seat. Really neat. Dash looks all complete and it even has a RARE power brake booster as shown in the photos. Will need new rockers and door bottoms but all else looks good. Under the hood is clean with no rot showing. This is an ideal project to make a killer rat rod, air bag it and slam it down. Sand through some of the primer and have that patina look. Back doors are solid and it looks like the original wood and rubber mat is still in place in the back. Will make a 10 grand rat rod with a small block Chevy, turbo 350 and some air bags. These are getting impossible to find in this condition anymore. Oh forgot, previous owner put new fiberglass front fenders on it and the inner fenders are really nice. Couple of weeks work and you got a nice ride. TIMES IS TOUGH HERE IN THE MOUNTAINS OF EAST KENTUCKY AND WE'RE SELLING OFF PROJECTS THAT WE REALLY DON'T WANT TO SELL BUT THEY GOT TO GO.
