Vehicle Detail
1950 Chevy 2-door coupe/custom street rod, power disc brakes, power steering, late model camaro front end, fresh GM 5.7 350 four bolt main, Eagle cast steel crankshaft, T-6 heat treated hypereutectic flat top pistons, Edelbrock matched top end kit includes: Edelbrock performer RPM flat tappet cam and lifters, Edelbrock performer RPM aluminum cylinder heads/ 64cc combustion chambers with Pro-Comp roller tip rocker arms. Edelbrock Dual-quad air gap intake finished in endurashine, two Edelbrock preformer RPM carbs also finished in endurashine. Other goodies include a custom made K&N dual quad arrow head breather, an Edelbrock performer RPM fuel pump , an Edelbrock Victor series water pump in endurashine. MSD 6AL ignition, an accel distributor, an aluminum radiator with electric fan, custom made headers wrapped in thermo-tec header wrap 2.5" exhaust with split flow race mufflers. Freshley rebuilt 350 turbo transmission with shift kit, external cooler and deep dish pan, plus a heavy duty boss hog torque converter. GM 10 bolt rear end with highway friendly 2.73 gears The car is very street friendly and very fun to drive. It was built to drive to local car shows and enjoy. The inside of the car is all custom as the pictures show, High back bucket seats with a center console and a Hurst Pro-Matic shifter. The stereo head unit is a JVC am/fm/CD/DVD player with a 3" tv screen. Treir are two power amps and a total of eight speakers including two 12" subs in the trunk. Car has a camaro tilt steering column with a custom leather wrapped zoops steering wheel, and Autometer gauges. [no a/c] The paint and body are show quality with the exception of a few small chips[not a trailer queen] Problems: 1. As you can see the car sits very low so on sharp turns the front tires will rub the inside fender a little. I just don't make u-turns. simple fix to raise up the front an inch or so but I just really like the low stance. 2.The stereo will sometimes turn off while driving then turn back on. I checked the power wire and the remote wire and the connections seem to be fine, it may be inside the head unit. 3. The switch to turn on the head lights is bad. The head lights come on fine but the interior gauge lights do not light up. unfortunately due to medical bills I must sell this car. I have over 30K invested in the car and I set the reserve at about a third of that Good Luck, and thanks for looking. [will consider partial trade for late model utility body truck. call Harvey @ 704-737-3542]
