Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is a 1995 BMW M3. I have owned this car, as my daily driver, for five years. I wasn't planning on selling the car and spared no expense in maintenance. I'm only selling to help with a family member's medical expenses. This is a five day listing. Many of the recent new parts were installed due to a bad throw-out bearing and weakening center support bearing. Since the transmission was being removed, it was a good opportunity to go ahead and replace some really hard to get to items. These items were still functional, but it made sense to replace them while access was easy. These items are mixed in the list below. Items that have been recently replaced, non-oem additions, and additional details: Engine: Sealed Vanos, both knock sensors, Active Autoworks ECU chip, starter, alternator, camshaft position sensor, engine mounts, non-ethanol gasoline, pure synthetic oil, mahle/mann oil filters. Cooling: metal impeller water pump, all new hoses (back of the engine and front), aluminum thermostat housing, thermostat, running fan delete for three years. Transmission/Clutch: Stage 2 clutch kit with only 2,000 miles on it that was broken in properly for 1,000 miles., Redline transmission fluid, UUC short shift kit, ZHP shift knob, transmission mounts, bushings, center support bearing, guibo flex disc. Brakes: All four corners new - zimmermann rotors, jurid pads, all brake lines, sensors, ATE Super Blue Fluid, emergency brake pads (works, but needs readjusting to engage lower), brake light switch. Stereo: BSW Stage 1 package (six speaker front sound stage), Infinity Basslink subwoofer, Alpine head unit. Exhaust: UUC TSE - Twin Silencer Exhaust Suspension: Bilstein Sports in the front - firm ride - I like it, but it would not be for everyone. Wheels: Active Autoworks 18" replicas. These look good when shined up from a distance. There is clear coat flaking off and a little curb rash. Plenty of tread left on tires. Heat/ Air conditioning: Both work great. The car still has its original freon. Factory alarm and 18-button OBC (on board computer). Car has always been in Florida or Georgia - no rust. I have a stack of receipts, clear title in hand, owner's manual, one key, key fob. Items that need addressing: the sunroof fabric liner has come off (the headliner is perfect - this can be a big issue on these cars) the window mouldings need to be replaced the windshield washer nozzles are clogged (the fluid pump does work) the horn doesn't work (probably due to when I took the steering wheel off) the door panels are shot. They need to be re-upholstered (this is a very common problem with these cars. The glue BMW used did not stand the test of time. There is a company online that will do it for $350 shipped. There are some rock ships and marks in the paint (trunk picture) here and there. Overall the paint looks fantastic and glossy when waxed. When I switched out the brake light sensor, the gauges started fluctuating when the brake pedal was pressed or the turn signal was activated. This doesn't happen every time. I haven't had a chance to look into it and it doesn't affect any thing else. The alarm key fob needs to be replaced. There is a chip inside that is removable. You can buy a replacement on Ebay and put the chip into that one. Most of these items are cosmetic and in no way affect the performance or integrity of the car. I just want to disclose every little thing I can think of. This car is a great daily driver that has never left me stranded. You can fly in and drive it home. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have. I require a $200.00 deposit and communication within 48 hours of auction end. If you have less than five feedback, you need to contact me before bidding. I will cancel your bid unless you do. I am not a mechanic and have described the car honestly and to the best of my ability.
