Vehicle Detail
Bidders, take a look at this stunning beauty! The CB 900 Custom is one of the most beautiful motorcycles ever made, period. It stands as an intimate, personalized, example of what Honda engineers developed for the high end sport/semi-touring segment of Honda fans. Check out the contours of the tank and the padding of the seat, notice how the natural lines of the bike flow and fit perfectly with the rider. Note the low (30 inch) stance as you easily crawl into the saddle, you get the sensation of climbing onto a thoroughbred. You bump the starter and the rumbling beast beneath you comes to life. You drop her into first and crack the throttle open, and quickly run it through the gears! Then, fear strikes you as you realize this is no ordinary motorcycle and has a top speed approaching 140 miles per hour! You quickly forget that this is a 30 year old masterpiece of engineering that you missed out on when you were young and foolish. Now is your chance to own this awesome three-owner bike. Always garage kept and babied, never raced, and well maintained all of its life. Although this is a 33000 mile bike, you would never know it by looking at it or opening it up on the freeway. No shimmies, shakes, rattles or any other noises other than the wind blasting you in the face and trying to rip your eyeballs from their sockets! Minor oil sippage near one of the cam cover gaskets and minor peeling of the chrome underneath one of the pipes are the only blemishes that can be found. You can spend 6-10 grand on an older version 750 and not get anywhere near the bike this is! Shaft driven, four-cylinder, disc brakes, hi and low range transmission, and a wealth of engineering went into this bike. For instance, this bike is practically service free by design. Change the oil regularly, check your fluid levels before each ride, keep your brakes serviced, and ride this thing the rest of your life without hassle. I have a low reserve set on the bike so bid with the confidence of knowing that you’ll be getting a fantastic motorcycle. I reserve the right to end the auction early as this motorcycle is for sale locally as well. Please DO NOT bid if you don’t intend to buy! Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer! This bike is sold as is, no warranty expressed or implied. A $500.00 deposit is required within twenty-four hours of close of auction, balance due within forty-eight hours. I will provide you with a notarized Bill of Sale upon purchase and a clear title within a short amount of time thereafter, as soon as I get it back from the state! I will accept Paypal for the deposit but prefer bank to bank wire transfer for the balance unless you have no other means to pay, in which case I will accept Paypal for the full amount. If you have any questions about the bike, ask BEFORE you bid. Feel free to call me at 724-866-2571. Good Luck!On Dec-05-11 at 01:42:53 PST, seller added the following information: Clear title in hand!
