Vehicle Detail
1972 Scout with full frame reconditioning/ modification about 2 years ago by previous owner. Everything on the scout currently works, and car runs well. Paint was stripped down and rusted spots were cut out of body, with rust inhibiting primer and all new paint. Restoration Pictures are below. https://picasaweb.google.com/mrjamesa/ScoutRenovationPreviousOwner` Body: Soft top is in good condition. Interior has bedliner painted on floor, marine grade viynl seats, newer stereo, complete new wiring for entire scout and autoloc gauges. 304 V8 Motor has approximately 2k miles after rebuild. Engine run's strong and has good power. Rebuilt 727 Transmission, rebuilt steering box, retbuilt Dana 20 transfer case and rebuilt dana 44 axles. Suspension has newer rancho shocks and extended shackles. Has aluminum rims with new tires on it. Extra: I have a complete AC system, rear tire mount, fog lights and some other extra parts. Selling due to need cash for a house purchase. Things that still need to be completed: Currently you have to wait for the speedometer to go through its "zero" cycle before starting unless you will have the wrong speed. The RPM gauge is not connected. The Seal on the rear axle is leaking a little. The fog lights are not connected (but there is wires behind the grill for them). The zippers on the top are separated, easy repair.
