Vehicle Detail
I bought this wagon several years ago - it's a project someone didn't have time to finish, and I no longer have time for it either. Its got such great potential, but it will need a lot of work. It started as a 56 Special wagon, and the previous owner added a Nova (?) drum brake subframe with power steering and 10 bolt posi rear. The car was completely detrimmed and the door handles and lock holes smoothed. The tailgate was also filled smooth and a piece of metal was added to give it a chopped look. Subframe appears well done - its reinforced and centered in the wheel wells, steering is hooked up and it turns well. The body was pretty decent but needs work in the floors. Frame and body mounts are solid. There's some cosmetic filler in the rockers and two of the door bottoms as pictured. All 4 doors are unbolted but still latch in place on the car. Fender bottoms are great, hood has a small stress crack on one edge. All the glass is included but one piece is cracked. Fenders and inner panels are bolted together but just sitting on the subframe. They appear to fit ok but you'll need to build a radiator cradle to mount the grille, etc. Bumpers, brackets, upper grill trim, grill V, taillights, interior garnish moldings, and all the exterior trim is included. There are no seats, door panels, engine, transmission, driveshaft, grille insert, headlight rings etc. Tires hold air and the car rolls free. Pictures of trim and additional parts will be added shortly. Great start to a Kustom, Pro Street, or add a straight axle and build a bare bones gasser with a tilt front end! I have a 425 nailhead from a Riviera GS that ran when pulled but has a rod knock that is for sale separately for $450. Includes finned factory valve covers and carb. Located just east of Cincinnati, Ohio. Clear Ohio title. Please email questions, or to set up a viewing.
