Please read entire auction description before asking questions. Thank you Update 11/27: Going to install a NOS Hood I have that was slightly damaged in shipping(back two corners were slightly bent). Perfect other than that. Will post pictures when installed. This a solid California west coast car, not a east coast rust bucket. You will be very happy with this car. This car is not for everyone but if you want a blank canvas to build what ever you want, this is it. How much would you have paid or how much time would you have spent to dismantle and media strip a car. No hidden surprises under paint which is what you find more than half the time on Ebay. If you would like a 289 engine I now have it available for an additional agreed upon price. This car has free and clear California title (VIN # 5R09T180581). All floor pans and frames are solid with no rust through. I added close up pictures(last four pics) of the only rust which is in four locations in the total car and all being only about an inch in diameter at each location. First one is trunk(deck) lid next to lock opening. Second one is in trunk around grommet on drivers side. Third is in rear passenger quarter behind wheel well. Fourth is in outside passenger front door close to front corner. That's it, no other rust issues. Some dents in passenger door and one in passenger rear back quarter bottom as pictured also some very minor denting in roof. Metal guy quoted me $200 to take out all dents(will have it done or can leave as is, up to buyer). Car is very straight other than these issues. This car was built in late January to mid February 1965 going by the date codes found in the original sheet metal and was built in San Jose, CA and has always been in CA until now. This is a perfect candidate to make a restomod or what ever else you may desire. The car had been media blasted down to bare metal so you can see exactly what your getting. The car was originally a 6 cyl. car but had been upgraded to a V8 so it is now a 5 lug car with disc brakes on all wheels. No engine, was having it rebuilt but machine shop went out of business and engine was lost. Comes as pictured with additional parts I received when I purchased the car as shown in three pictures including the transmission. Car comes with all glass except windshield. All interior rear trim pieces and complete rear folddown seat and two front seats. Previous owner for reasons unknown started to cut around taillight where it meets passenger quarter as seen in last picture. The quarter did have a few small pencil width holes right behind the wheel opening as shown in pictures but by no means did it call for a quarter replacement so I'm not sure why they did it.
