Vehicle Detail
This is the iconic classic cruiser... an original 1949 Mercury 2 door coupe with only 78,597 miles on her original flathead engine. Very hard to find untouched/chopped Merc like this. Was a Canadian built car so it has a two-tone green and cream paint job. It was repainted once 30 or 40 years ago the original factory color. Still has original interior that is in beautiful condition for its age. The front seat does have a few rips but all else is in great shape. The beautiful old girl needs some brake work but she still runs and drives great as a 78,597 mile car should. Rear window seal has dried and in the rain may leaks. New gas tank has recently been installed. No rust or body work has been done that I can see anywhere. I was told this Merc was bought from the original Canadian owner of the car, so the winning bidder would be only the 3rd owner. Sold with a clear title. I am listing for a friend so please call 509-684-1499 with any questions you may have. One of the iconic true classic cars that can be cruised as is or taken to the next level and made into a $60,000 plus custom! Email if you would like additional pics. This car is sold as is/where is and is being sold with a clear title. Please email me to arrange a viewing. $500 is due within 48 hours of auctions end and to be paid in full within 7 actual days when auction ends by winning bidder. Pick up/shipping/full payment is the winning bidders responsibility. Be sure of the value of this car before you bid as there are no refunds. I can recommend shippers if desired and will assist in loading the car on your trailer. ThanksOn Nov-27-11 at 16:13:55 PST, seller added the following information: FYI... the seats have old seat covers over them in the pics, so the front seat looks worse than it is. There are a couple of worn/torn spots in the original seat material beneath the torn cover areas but not as bad.
