Hi im selling my 1989 toyota 4runner its a :2 door, 5speed manual, 4cyl with a 22re engine (stock) 4x4 and its EFI. I've put some new things in it: * new sparkplugs, cables, and new distrubutor cap. * new tps or (throttle possition sensor) * new shocks (stock) new shocks * new stereo and speakers (car didnt have anything when i bought it) * new fog lights * I also redid the roof on the inside made it black * the truck is lifted a little higher than stock height * put in new battery( just tpo replace the old one) --------"THE BADS"----------- * The truck has rear end damage and is missing the rear bumper ( was like that when i bought the truck) * has a small crack in the windshield on the lower right side of truck. * the rear window is power but the motor is bad so doesnt really work. * the hazard lights dont work it was always like that i dont know why. * the battery gets drained if the truck is left to sit for a few days also dont know why. * the truck has little bumps and scratches all around but still looks really nice. ***The truck has a salvage title**** INTERIOR i would give it a 5/10 its not bad EXTERIOR I would give it a 6 or 7 out of ten it looks nice * The truck runs currently but i dont drive it due to the fact that it didnt pass smog (1st time).I payed for it to get diagnosed and it came out being the TPS or (throttle possition sensor). I replaced the sensor but havent been able to take it to get re-smogged. * i have the pinkslip but in its history it was marked as salvaged.(i dont know why) --------"THE GOODS"------------ * The truck does still run, runs great" wether its on the street or on dirt(4x4 works really great), the truck is also great on gas good gas saver', it has always been my daily driver and would drive it from my home(ridgecrest) to Los Angeles (manhattan beach area) and would only waste half a tank of gas, i just recently stopped driving it but it does run if bought all it would need would be a moving permit.Its a great truck for dessert areas mountain areas etc. * The truck has really good tires, with long life still in them. * All the lights work(except hazards)lol * The stereo sounds great all pioneer * Seats 5 people * The A/C and heater work good * I have the original front brush guard(is still good) also and a aftermarket skid plate that was given to me might fit ( this will also go with truck). *The engine has had work done to it before I purchased the vehicle so the motor mileage is less than the actual mileage on the odometer Above all the truck works fine runs good etc, this was actually my first vehicle i have ever bought and have never been dissapointed, i've put alot of work and care into the truck .The reason im selling it is because i need a small car due to my circumstances but love the truck and would be great for anyone who loves the outdoors,or that wants a good project truck or just to have as a beginner needs little work here and there but is worth it.
