You will find this 300D is in great shape for its age. W115 Body Style with the 5 cylinder Diesel power-plant. Interior: The interior is in very good condition with no rips for tears in the seats.The floor mats are in great shape as well. The windows have tint on them as well to keep you cool. Exterior: The exterior is still original with no rust and minimal rock chips. The plastic on the bumpers show minimal oxidization. All lights work as they should. Mechanical: The mileage is unknown because the odometer does not show 100K's.It is either 100K or 200K maximum. You will be pleased with how good the engine sounds. There are no known mechanical issues aside from a fuel drip where the fuel line comes into the fuel pump from the secondary filter. All air, fuel, and oil filters and fuel hoses have been replaced within the last two months. The brakes were replaced within the last 50 miles. New shocks were added to the rear suspension at the same time. New suspension stabilizers were also added at the same time. The rear passenger's window and driver's window do not work. The motor and switch on the driver's window are good, so the problem lines in the wiring for regulator. The issues with the rear window have not been diagnosed yet. The front window has a 6-8 inch crack in the driver's side lower front corner. This crack doesn't inhibit visibility or anything. The car has factory A/C but it is not charged up. It has been converted to R134. During these cold days the heater works great and the blower functions as it should. Tires are good and road worthy. Now that is it getting cold, it needs a better battery. The one it includes does not have enough cold crank amps. Summary: This classic is great for its age both in looks and function. You will be pleased with its ability to cruise down the highway at 65-70 mph. With a little extra pampering and some time this car will look like new and last you a lifetime. The following list should clear up some of the questions that have been received. Hopefully this will further help your decision and your comfort in see this car is still nice even after 36+ years of life. 1) The body is rust free and in need of no cosmetic repairs. It is collision free, damage free, and still shiney when washed and waxed. 2) The guages all work (even the clock!). The light behind the guages has burned out which will need replacing if driving a lot at night. 3) The engine compartment is complete and clean (especially considering its a diesel). One thing missing under the hood is the windshield washer pump. The tank and sprayers are all there, just needs a new pump. 4) She has been slow to start in this cold weather but that is believed to all be due to an older, low cold crank amp battery, which was discussed in the description.
