Vehicle Detail

This is an Original & Rare 1967 Ford Mustang. A Factory Big Block 390 "S" Code California Coupe. Documented thru Marti Auto Works as the real deal. History: The 2nd owner purchased it from his co-worker in 1981 & lived in Long Beach, California. It was mostly all original on purchase. Thru out the years, the 2nd owner was restoring it slowly. Mostly sat in his garage & hardly ever drove it. He passed away in early 2000 & it was left behind for his son. His son got it running again & had no intentions on ever selling it (since it was in the family for almost 30 years). Loosing his job force the idea on selling the Mustang. Last month, the son started to go thru number's that was left in the glove box of people interested over the years on purchasing it. I was on top of the list as I remember his dad as early as the late 90's. Up For Auction For The First Time At 3 Days With No Reserve, Sold To The Highest Bidder The original color was Arcadian Blue with a Black vinyl roof. Beautiful color & rare for a 390 car. Was repainted once in the 80' to a darker metallic Blue. The body is original with the exception of being repainted once in the 80's. Underneath is clean but most important it's "original". No patch panels or homemade work done to the undercarriage. Beautiful floor pans and frame structure including torque boxes. Engine aprons are all original & never been replaced including the shock towers. Factory quarters still in place as well as the original taillight panel. Has some rust on each of the drip rails/pillar due to the vinyl top. Corner of the inner doors, under the doors as well as inner housing are in really good shape. Old paint with scratches, chips & dings. Overall, a excellent example of a Southern California Mustang coupe. The upholstery/carpet was redone at one point years ago. The rest of the interior is original including trim. Interior is clean & in driver condition. Still remains the original console with ultra rare Convenience Control Panel. The stock radio & clock are still in place. Remains the factory Matching & Correct Dated 390-4V C6. S Code Mustang's are getting impossible to find these days. Especially, A California early 67' coupe. What makes it's more valuable is that it was a factory air condition big block. The second owner removed the a/c & emissions from under the hood. They were never found but the inside of the car the a/c panel is there. Running & driving just fine. Very much stock other then the Eldebrock carburetor. Original Big S intake, heads as well as the rear end are original. Power steering makes it easier to turn. I do have is what suppose to be the original chrome 390 air cleaner? Overall, a driver. Would make a great driver for someone or a restoration candidate. Keep in mind, Old paint, original trim & body. Not a restored car or pristine. ____________________ Conclusion & Terms _________________________I have set my auction at 3 Days With No Reserve, so please only serious bidding.
