This car was my late father’s pride and joy that he kept for weekend drives during the warmer months. He had many cars, hence the low mileage. He passed a few years ago, and we have finally gotten around to putting it on the market with the hopes that another person can continue to enjoy it as he had. (See Toyota Dealership, and Jiffy Lube printouts.) Just passed NJ Emissions Inspection. Sticker valid through March of 2013. Engine timing belt and drive belts were replaced at 30,168 miles in July of 2000. New battery installed on 9/27/10. 36 month replacement guarantee at Walmart. (Original receipt will be included) Engine runs very smooth, no abnormal noises or leaks. Shifts great, does not burn any oil. These engines are known to be very reliable and are often seen on Ebay selling with over 200,000 miles. The Not So Good: Drivers seat leather badly cracked and needs re-upholstering. The rest of the interior leather is in very good condition. Rear trunk release not functioning. You must use the key to open. Speedometer rests at about 15 mph, but functions normally once you hit that speed. This occurred recently, when speedometer cable started making whining noise then got quiet. This does not affect the odometer which has worked throughout the life of the car. Driver’s side T-top shade has one of the two clips broken, but still holds liner in place. Windshield wipers don’t return to parked position. You must turn when they reach bottom position. Body is in very good condition. No accidents, just a few minor parking lot dings that were professionally repaired a few years ago. Original radio failed, and was replaced with a Sony FM/AM Cassette XR-CA300. We do not have the original radio. Parking brake “on” light on the dashboard stays on when the parking brake is off. My father put a piece of Velcro on the dash to cover this up.
