I bought the car to enjoy the summer with the girlfriend and without a garage, need to give it a new home for the cold winter ahead. Car is clean, no histories of accident and a ton of fun! Mechanically without a problem, body is beautiful considering its life chapter in New York City. The back bumper has a few of those expected license plate screw bumps (see pictures). There is a paint chip on the passenger door and a paint bump and small scratch on the driver side below the foldable roof (see picture as well). The passenger side rear wheel has 2 curb scratches, an easy polish. The paint shines and looks superb. A real eye catcher. I believe it was also a full option car when it came out with factory Xeon lights. Previous owner bought the car from a dealership in Connecticut. I bought it locally here in Brooklyn. Roof does not leak, folds perfect. AC works great; I even have the 5 disc changer (cool back in ’02) and even the original Audi first aid kit. Also comes with the folded roof cover for better highway gas mileage which fits nicely in the trunk. Also useful is the original manufacturer’s Bose radio code (an annoying 75 bucks if you lose it). I even have the original car manual, stereo manual etc.. Further down is the maintenance history. Interior is spotless, there is some leather wear on the left side of the driver’s seat (see picture). The car suffers from a usual TT dashboard electronic glitch. There are lines through the car computer display. Some days worse than others. A rebuilt display is about $350, but living with the display glitch was fine by me. The car has always been taken well care of. Last oil change 2,800 miles ago with Mobil1, only used premium gas. Just went through NY inspection. I had it thoroughly checked when I bought it and did all the work that was both needed and could be needed. It runs great, no leaks. See below for the jobs which were done to the car these past few years: At 95k: · Just installed a brand new battery At 94k: · New timing belt. (I was told the old one was just starting to wear out)· New gas cap (seal of original one had worn and was throwing off the fuel pressure) At 92k: · New front breaks and rodors· 4 brand new Bridgestone Fusion 91 HRI tires· Full tune up· New Transmission pan gasket and fluids (there was a small leak) Previous owner had also kept the car clean and I have receipts for: · New rear brakes and rodors in October 2010· New water pump in September 2009 · Also have historic of minor maintenance through the years, headlights, breakpads, fuses etc… It was important when I purchased it to know the car was well looked after. An all around great car, a head turner in the City and a true German on the highways.
