This is the most desirable MGB/GT out there! It is a low mileage(50K) original two-owner, rust-free car with an overdrive transmission, wire wheels and a Webatsco sun roof. It runs like a top with a newly rebuilt engine and twin SU carbs w/ K&N type air cleaners. The interior is new and looks great. The tires have only 5k miles on them. The original color, Bedowin beige, paint job is 3 years old and is the only average part of this GT. It has a new gas tank and fuel pump, lots of new chrome, new starter, all new brakes, new clutch. I've owned it for 17 years and have been ever so slowly restoring it. It is a year-round driver and the period correct vinyl sun roof makes the car better than a convertible in my book. A couple of things I forgot to note; the tires are fairly new Dunlop SP20's; the exhaust is fairly new, the mileage is actually 47K, the frame and bottom are rock solid, the car starts with ease in all weather and with the overdrive trans. cruises at 70 mph at only 3k RPM. It also has new modern safety belts which required that I leave the back cushion out of the car. I still have the cushion and it is included with the car. If the winning bidder wants them, I also have a set of rear windows, two GT doors and a back hatch to be included in the sale. On Nov-14-11 at 05:06:45 PST, seller added the following information: The sun roof is manually operated and it works very easily. It is weather proof and doesn't leak. It's vinyl and folds back when opened and has a good looking headliner on the interior. It is made by Webatsco and was available as a dealer add-on when these cars were sold new. It enables these cars to be enjoyed throughout the warmer months without the hassle of a convertible top.
