This vehicle is being sold AS-IS for parts or for someone who has the time to repair the various little problems, dings and dents. The engine is absolutely perfect which could bring 1000 dollars just for it's running condition. The trans is in good shape although it takes a few seconds to shift into reverse which might be a shift solenoid but it to is very strong with no slippage. Brakes are new w/rotors but brake pedal is going to floor which could be a bleeding or possible leak-have not had it checked. No major body damage-just dings and fender coverings. Heat will not shut off. Tried replacing the solenoid system for that but did not solve the problem Heat blower motor not working as it needs the regulator replaced(available on e-bay for about 60 bucks used. A/C needs freon charge every Summer, compressor works fine. Just a lot of little stuff. This was the last year for the heavy well built Mercedes before they went to a lighter vehicle with those terrible looking round headlights. Heated seats work. Sunroof works. Window regulator on drivers side front needs to be replaced(motor is OK) Vehicle is no longer registered so we did not have it inspected as of October 2011. We never had a NJ inspection problem with emissions. Mercedes parts are expensive and not easy to find so away it goes. There is a very small worn rip in the drivers side seat but other than that the interior is still in pretty good shape.Bring a tow truck or temp tags and drive it away. Clear title. I just drove it to our factory to keep it inside rather than keep it in bad weather outdoors.
