Vehicle Detail

LOW RESERVE! Under 1/2 of avaerage condition NADA value available for this car. Need to sell asap! Only selling for $ invested in parts and labor. The build started with a 1973 2002, and this is the round tail version everyone looks for. The amount of work done is ridiculous. Looks and drives nothing like it did in '73. Engine was completely rebuilt around 4k miles ago (odometer is original and stopped at 39k, but don't be discouraged) everything else in the dash works perfectly. Clean title. Below i'll just list all the items on the car i can think of, i have a huge folder of receipts and a box of parts that goes with the car too (some fuel and oil filters, oils, tools, synchrometer, HAYNES MANUAL, and things along those lines). doesn't drip or leak anything, no spots in the garage. registered with Historic plates which means no inspection ever and registration is renewed only every 3 years at no cost here in NJ! collector car insurance is $89 a year for full coverage. honestly, to make this thing perfect would be an awesome sanding and paintjob for it to grab more attention. Need it sold asap, job is relocating me and the first thing to go is the toys, need to sell fast. Gets attention EVERYwhere it goes. garage kept! never actually raced, but i'm sure it could hold its own. I've driven it to work maybe 2 or 3 days a week (4miles each way) so you know it's ready for a new home. VIDEOS: pulling out of garage, and pullout & driveby. Sorry If I was still babying it, I'll get a better video. http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y34/RickyP/?action=view¤t=leavinggarage.mp4 http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y34/RickyP/?action=view¤t=1streetpullout.mp4 VIDEOS: Idling & exhaust http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y34/RickyP/?action=view¤t=idleengine.mp4 http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y34/RickyP/?action=view¤t=goodengineon.mp4 http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y34/RickyP/?action=view¤t=rearmuffler.mp4 Videos of the car inside & out http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y34/RickyP/?action=view¤t=SDC12981.mp4 http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y34/RickyP/?action=view¤t=SDC12980.mp4 http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y34/RickyP/?action=view¤t=SDC12984.mp4 http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y34/RickyP/?action=view¤t=SDC12986.mp4 Interior is in great shape: -momo suede steering wheel -leather racing seats w/4pt racing belts -newer racing pedal assembly -new 4spd boot and knob -oil temp, oil pressure, and battery voltage vdo guages -rear welded roll cage -rear seat delete and weight reduction -next thing on my list was to update the headliner -dash has a small crack Suspension & brakes: it handles like no other! super light and with so many upgrades -The car has been lightened around many 100lbs -H&R springs (best they make for this car) -front and rear racing sway bar kits from Ireland Engineering -front and rear race strut braces -tii big brake kit upgrade: slotted rotors, upgraded calipers, upgraded brake lines from IE -battery relocated to the rear center w/ a battery cutoff lever under the hood -all front and rear bushings, tranny and engine mounts, replaced with urethane -bilstein shocks all the way around Body: -no rust on the struts, rust around them and floor pan were professionally fixed -all of the chrome trim around the front, sides, and rear has been removed & filled -obnoxious front and rear bumper deleted & filled, and new rally front bumper installed -widened fiberglass front and rear fenders -black front grilles -Euro blinkers -Has a moonroof, and rear windows open. -Could use a new paint job to be extremely shiny again -small line in the side of the windshield -small clrearcoat runoff under the door handle -alittle rust left under the driver seat . Just ordered all the top of the line trans and rear diff fluid I would need to change all the fluids under the car for the winter to quiet it up a bit, but now as you can see, i need to sell. Will include with the car. I also have a set of massive wheel spacers (used with the old stock wheels), a few more sets of lugs, fuel and oil filters, and things bought just for the car, will include that as well. Anything having to do with this car I will no longer need :) On Nov-11-11 at 08:24:46 PST, seller added the following information: LOW RESERVE! So I went out to the garage, let it get to operating temp, and woke it up alittle. Video goes from steady idle to high revving, back to steady idle. You can see how the engine revs faster than the stock cluster can move :) and really hear how it roars (if you have good speakers on your pc). http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y34/RickyP/?action=view¤t=SDC12994.mp4 On Nov-15-11 at 16:25:00 PST, seller added the following information: Clarification of 39k odometer reading: Odometer has only a 5digit reading "xx,xxx" and reads 39,611. Odometer stopped at the 139k mark. Resets to 00,000 @ 100k. Engine was overhauled around 3/2010 with receipts (cams replaced, head gaskets, ect.) and carbs completely rebuilt 9/2011 with receipts including parts and labor. Title has the "N" near the odometer reading for "not actual mileage" estimated to be close to 200k on the body, but really only around 4k since the motor overhaul, 1k since the carbs were rebuilt with a tuneup. A used cluster was bought about 2months ago as a finishing touch, and odometer also was stuck, so it was returned and I decided to keep the original one with the car to save from complications when eventually reselling. Please ask if you have any questions with anything else! On Nov-17-11 at 05:50:03 PST, seller added the following information: I've gotten 100+ emails about the car in the last 24hrs... With 153 people so far watching it and over 4k views, I would prefer not to sell outside of ebay. I'd like it to be fair for everyone bidding, and would like a guarantee that a new home is found for it. I'm not selling for profit! Reserve was at $6,900 because that was all I have invested of my own money in the car. I can't take it with me, and I will not give it away or have it sit in storage. Other 2002's with this amount of work have sold for over twice the amount instantly, with the $ you save you can make it your own and still make a great profit later on, after enjoying it.
