This is a nice almost rust free western car. (I only found 1 rust bubble in the body in the lower front corner of the passenger door about a 1/4 inch in size ). The quarter panels and rocker panels are real good as are the floors and trunk (see trunk pictures). The car has been garaged for the last 25 years that I know of (5 by me and 20 by the prior owner). It has the 287 V8 in it and a bench seat. It runs good but the brakes may need minor work. I put in new brake shoes, wheel cylinders,master cylinder,brake hoses and had the booster rebuilt in the last couple of years. . The interior is nice, no rips or tears. This car has had 1 old repaint and looks good from 10 feet away but the paint is dull and should be repainted .The dash should also be repainted. There is some very minor damage around the trunk lock and left front fender corner , nothing major. Also the windshield should be replaced as it has a bad crack in it. The mileage may have turned over once,I don't know. This would be a very easy car to restore or use as a driver as is. You do not need to weld in a bunch of panels or do a lot of body work on this car. This is the most rust free example I have seen in years. You can call me with any questions. This is a good solid car that is in great condition for being 45 years old. When was the last time you saw a Marlin ? This car is permanently licensed in Washington state , if sold out of state I'm keeping the license plates.
