Up for auction is a 1968 chevy swb stepside. The truck has a 350 with an automatic transmission. The previous owner said the motor has around 100 miles on a rebuild. It has edelbrock valve covers and air cleaner. The truck has a new starter, exhaust, alternator and edelbrock carburator. The previous owner told me he put on a lot of new parts but I am just listing what I can see. When I purchased the truck I backed it off the trailer and drove the truck about 5 miles and parked it. The motor pulled hard and held good oil pressure and never got hot. That is basically all I know about the drivetrain so I would suggest trailering the truck home after purchasing. The frame appears to be solid. The rockers have some rust as does the lower floorpans and rear fenders. The truck has a aftermarket sunroof that was installed poorly. The interior is not totally complete but has most of the pieces needed to fix. The front cap is in good condition. This truck is not road ready but it would be a very good candidate for a restoration. With a little work the truck could probably be made driveable without having to spend a lot of money.
