Stunning Porsche Boxster - 2.7 l Roadster/Convertible. Limited production Malibu Pearl Blue with Palomino interior and blue canvas top, one of the most desirable color combinations. Carbon Fiber Dash Kit trim, Custom Offset/Staggered BSA Racing Wheels, K2/Carrera GT Stabilizer wing. This Porsche has 89950 cared for miles, has all the dealer service stamps, every major service, receipts and all books. NOTE: The mileage/odometer will be higher as I am planning a Golf trip to Santa Barbara this weekend. I am a bit of a gear head on my spare time and a member of the North American Porsche club (this car is registered), I also race Porsche's (when time allows). This roadster is the classic 5 speed 2.7 Liter straight - the absolute best choice! None of the Tiptronic Issues or the engine misfire associated with the larger engine (type S and the newer versions)...Also, this is the first year of the E-Throttle! Limited production. Plenty of torque and very good looks. Over the last few years I have replaced the Camshaft with a K2 racing Camshaft, K2 Valve seals, Bosch ugraded 0025 MAF sensor, new belts, FVD Clutch (about 2 years ago) etc etc...It already has the Porsche Recall for the emission/Cats completed! All power, doors, windows, power top (new hydraulic seals), AM/FM Cassette and Pioneer 10 CD changer, power seats (driver and passenger). Car has always been garaged, never seen snow. It has spent most of its life in 2 places - Virginia Beach and Scottsdale. This has been my favorite summer and fall car, taking me to all my Golf Outings. The car starts right up and has a throaty sound. It shifts through all the gears effortlessly, and can reach up to 150MPH! (of course, not a good idea). Motor has no leaks and no issues. With all the upgrades and work that was done to it - should go another 100K with no headaches. NOTE: All the Engine warning lights are FULLY FUNCTIONAL! A lot of people selling Porsche's and higher end cars have removed the warning light bulb for the check engine (cheaper than repairing the problem)! Without the light, you will not pass emission or state inspection! The interior is in excellent shape for a 11 year old vehicle. The driver seat shows the normal wear in the leather, no cracks or cuts - just the weight creases. I have replaced the seat bottom on the Passenger side seat last September, the sun and the heat of AZ creates havoc on the seat bottoms (specially when no one sits on it). The dash and carpeting is excellent, with no cuts, stains or tears. No odors in the car, non-smoker. The exterior is in great shape, no major dents or dings. All the electronics are fully functional, Ice Cold AC and Hot Heater! All the radio pixels are perfect, and fully functional. The paint is original - the Pearl Blue is amazing, metallic blue in the shade and violet blue in the sun. Tires have about 50% left on them and they are set on BSA Racing Wheels (offset for better handling and acceleration - I paid about $2400 for the set). The wheels are perfect other than slight pitting and weathering on one rim. I have removed the security lug nuts (see picture) from 2 rims. Scottsdale Porsche has managed to lose my security lock tool for the lug nuts...If they find it, I will include it. The Porsche comes with a OEM Fitted Full Car Cover, 2 keys (OEM/FOB and Valet) and the complete set of books and manuals. The flaws that I can think of are in the interior and they are very common problems on the Boxster. The storage unit/arm rest cover - the back hinge is broken. The cover stays in place, it clicks in - but the hinge is bad. I replaced it once 2 years ago, the heat does a number on the plastics. The passenger side sun visor - the plastic flip up cover - it's in place but the plastic hinge (again) is cracked. This car is a head turner and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere...The 2.7 L engine gets great gas mileage, which makes this sports car perfect for today's economy. You may come and test-drive the car in person (Scottsdale,AZ) as long as I get a 24 hr window to schedule my time. You may have the car inspected at any mechanic/dealer of your choice provided that they specialize in German cars (I will not take it to Pep-Boys!) and that they are in my vicinity...I expect a non-refundable $500 deposit at the end of the auction - at the end, means right after you win the auction. Not the next day or next week. If I do not receive the deposit, I reserve the right to cancel the transaction. I accept and prefer Bank Wire transfer (safe and quick) and obviously, CASH in person. I will accept checks, but will not release the car or title until the funds clear. I have been on Ebay for 13+ years and never disappointed anyone - I don't intend to start now. My description is as good as possible in writing. If you are a "picky" or find issues in everything, please come and see the car in person - BEFORE bidding! I do not offer refunds, or returns.
