This is a 1948 Desoto Custom S-11 4 dr Sdn. Up for auction.I bought this car about 3 years ago,but I have to many projects,and no time to do this car correctly as it should be done.The car looks good, but needs to be restored.I drove the car around the block a couple of times but the emergency brake was sticking.There is a new one that I will include with the car.It was redone some time ago,but has dents and scratches, and the interior needs to be restored as well.The floors are solid,the trunk is solid,and the rockers are solid also.The Motor runs good but seems to have not been redone.Since I had the car I replaced the front Brakes,Wheel Cylinders,Hoses,and Hardware.I also pulled the backing plates,blasted and painted them.I put a new Carb on, and replaced the Battery.I pulled the Gas tank,Cleaned it and put a new sending unit in.All of the lights work including the Turn Signals and Brake light.The Wipers work, and even the Radio works.The are keys for the doors, trunk,and ignition too.The Car is being sold in as is condition,in need of Restoration.Buyer is responsible for all shipping and or pickup.A deposit of $200.00 is to be paid within 48 hours Via Pay Pal of the auction end, and the balance within 7 Days by Money Order, Cash,or a Bank Check which must clear first before the car can be shipped or released.If you have a question please send me an email before you bid,thanks and happy bidding.
