Up for auction is a 1940 Hot Rod Coupe. This car has been sectioned, three inches has been removed all the way around the car ,it was done very nicely all the body is pretty much done, it does have a few spots where the older paint has cracked it could use new paint job as the pics show. Under the hood is a hopped up 350 Chevy motor with a mild cam and dual exhaust, with a automatic transmisssion she runs very strong sounds just likes it looks mean. All the windows are in great shape and they do roll up and down, and the front suspension is Mustang II w/manual rack and the rear is chevy 10 bolt, all chevy drive train, the inner front fender well's were homemade and removed for more air circulation. Its a Hot Rod Resto Streetrod Style Build, with the hood scoop and all. Has bucket seats, tilt column, custom guages. The body is all smoothed with frenched lights. She does not have power brakes or steering. Its very rare you see a 1940 Ford sectioned. Im selling this rod for a friend in Missouri that is where the car located i will be handeling the entire deal and can assist with shipping also .. This car could easily be made back to a old traditional rod, just add some whitewall tires and paint it a old school color .
