1980 Plymouth Volar'e (Same as Dodge Aspen) Less than 77,000 original miles This car has the bullet proof "Slant 6" with Torque Flight automatic transmission. The car is a rust free original with no filler or any other damages. It does have an older repaint that is in excellent shining condition. The roof is in good shape as well with no signs of damage. The interior is as nice as the rest of the car, no signs of wear on the seats and the dash is completely crack free. There is an aftermarket Alpine am/fm CD player installed, the original radio is mia. This car has COLD working air conditioning as well as heat as we're coming into the winter months. The car runs and drives wonderful, quiet and smooth. I drove this car 160 miles a day back and forth to work for 6 months until I bought a NEW car, it actually gets pretty good gas mileage (23 MPG) for a car of its age and size. The car has been completely serviced with new hoses fresh oil and transmission flush. The tires are recent and in excellent condition. (I have the original full face hubcaps to go with the car) The only problems known with the car is the catalytic converter has broken catalyst inside so it rattles a little bit but does not affect how the car runs or drives and the dash lights seem to have a short but has a blue lamp over the gauge cluster to keep an eye on things. The car really is as nice as the pictures represent. This is the last year for the Slant 6 in a passenger car. I went over this car to be a dependable daily driver because I was driving this car daily 160 miles a day, with that said I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere however as with any 32 year old car I cannot possibly guarantee you will not have any problems and there is NO warrantys or guarantees of any kind. It burns NO oil between regular 3,000 mile changes. Does not smoke at start up or any other time. The original automatic choke works just as intended and shuts down when its good and ready. The drive shaft has the NORMAL Chrysler CLUNK when you engage from park to drive. (THEY ALL DO!!)
