327 power-glide automatic 3 speed. Matching numbers. This car is road-ready. It runs and looks great. Solid suspension and strong motor. New paint and chrome. No rust. Nearly new tires. The Camaro is solid mechanically. The engine runs great and starts right up every time. The suspension is solid -- no peculiar vibrations or noises. Steering and braking are great. We've had the car up to 110 mph. Tires are in nearly-new condition. All lights work. There are no oil leaks. Engine is basically in stock condition. The guy we bought it from replaced points and rotors and rebuilt the carberator. We replaced the alternator and voltage regulator. Notice that it does have functioning auxiliary gages mounted below the dash on the passenger side. We replaced 2 rear quarter panels, both front fenders and all exterior chrome and emblems and had it painted summer 2010. There is no body rust left. The person we bought it from replaced muflers and all suspension rubber. The interior is in good condition. Seats and door panels are original and are in good condition. We replaced the carpet. We replaced all front seat belts so they are fully functional. It has stock shoulder straps. Head liner is in good condition. We replaced most of the faux wood trim in the console as well as the glove box. It has an alarm system, although we haven't really used it. Our 16-year-old daughter drove this car 15 miles on a 60 mph road to and from school once or twice a week. So, basically, we trust the safety and soundness of this vehicle. We have about $22,000 invested in it.
