Vehicle Detail

1954 Plymouth Belvedere Two Door Hardtop. This is the "Top of the line" model Plymouth for 1954. I have a clear title in hand. This 1954 Plymouth is a very complete car with an original, good running six cylinder, 1954 Plymouth engine. Many of the parts have been particle blasted and painted. This is still a restoration project, but most of the difficult work is completed. In the process of restoring this Two Door Hardtop, a second good running, 1954 Plymouth Belvedere was purchased. The best parts from both cars were saved for this 1954 Plymouth restoration project. The car is a work in progress with numerous duplicate parts. The following is a list of "some" of the parts: 1. Two rust free front fenders, 2. rear bumper and rear splash pan with bumper guards, 3. front bumper and splash pan, Both front and rear bumpers have the original bumper brackets. 4. a second original 1954 Plymouth radio. 5. numerous extra door handles and window cranks, 6. a complete 1954 Plymouth dash with gauges. 7. an extra rim with extra right and left lug bolts. 8. an complete extra heater with controls, 9. an extra radiator. 10. Numerous extra chrome trim pieces. From duplicate rocker panel chrome trim pieces for both sides, to the fender chrome trim, there are several extra trim pieces. 11. a complete extra gas tank. 12. a complete set of 1954 Plymouth literature. From the original owner's manual to the original shop manual, there is a complete set - including numerous ads featuring a 1954 Plymouth Two Door Hardtop in my car's original colors with a Black top and San Diego Gold body. There are also the showroom brochures. 13. Right and left wind-wing windows and frames. It is almost impossible to list the rest of the parts, but they are boxed and included in this auction. It has the full wheel hubcaps as well. The engine has been cleaned and tuned with the following items: new spark plugs, new oil filter and fresh oil, radiator flushed and cleaned with fresh antifreeze. With these steps completed the engine was placed in the engine compartment and started to be sure in was running smoothly. The engine is running, but still needs to be hooked to the transmission and driveshaft. The wiring is still in place, but needs to be evaluated and probably replaced. I have taken numerous photos of the 1954 Plymouth and the photos have been super sized to assist you in evaluating the condition of my car. This is a good restoration project, but I want to be sure the new owner knows exactly what they are getting. The front and rear windows are missing. All the glass for the car is available, but the windshields on my car are missing. There are some minor rust issues, but nothing serious. I have taken close up photos of the floors with the seats removed. There is a small hole on the passenger's side floor and there is some bubbling in the rocker panels. Both of these rust issues are not serious and can be repaired with out replacing the panels. The interior is complete, but needs to be replaced. Please look closely at the photos. The material left on the seats is the original 1954 seat covers put on the car at the Plymouth factory. The paint is worn, but is original to the car. The factory inspection numbers are still on the firewall of the engine compartment. The trunk has the original mat and cardboard panels. This is a good, relatively rare, 1954 Plymouth Two Door Hardtop project - the frame is straight and I have the original owner's phone number to insure you know exactly what you are getting. I also have the original title as well as the current clear title. If you have less than 5 positive feedbacks in your Ebay feedback score, please give me a call or email me before bidding. I want to be sure this is a good straightforward auction. My home phone number, which is still attached to the kitchen wall, is (801) 745-0599. A $500.00 PayPal deposit is required within 48 hours after the auctions closes. Good luck bidding.
