Beautiful Classic! 1964 Series 62 Four Door Painted in Pearl White. 429 CU V8 Runs Great!!!! 3 Speed Automatic Transmission was Rebuilt as per one of the Previous Owners in Iowa. (No Receipts). Sought After Black and White Interior...The Dash is Perfect! Headliner, Door Panels and Front Seat are in Perfect Original Shape. Back Seat on Cushion, tear approximately 6 Inches. Attempted to have repaired, however the cloth material is to dry. This is the Original Interior and Engine...Tires area White Wall Steel Belted Radials with approximately 500 Miles. I have replaced One Motor Mount, Driver's Side. One Exhaust Manifold Gasket, Driver's Side. Intake Manifold Gasket. Wires, Spark Plugs, Cap and Rotor. The Diff Fluid has been Changed and a new Pinion Seal Replaced. NO NO NO NO NO RUST! The Power Windows Function as does the Air Condition..The vehicle has Cruise Control, however, it does not Function. In addition the Clock does not Function.. Original Dealer Manual included...As far as we can tell, the 31,500 mile are original based upon the wear of the upholstery and a mechanic reviewing the car, however, I have not owned it since new. I know the car was in Iowa at least 15 years ago. In addition, in April 2011, a fellow E Bay Member advised that he owned the auto in Iowa and purchased it from another gentleman in Iowa. I am going on my second year of ownership. The vehicle remains in a garage free from Humidity and Rain. .. The Chrome Rear Bumper has some dimples, but is nice.. I would not rechrome. The front center chrome bumper piece is almost perfect. One front Chrome End Cap is discolored on the bottom and one as a hole the side of a dime. Persons only notice it up close. The vehicle will require weather stripping all around the windows. The weather stripping inside of the trunk is perfect as is around the doors. The interior of the trunk is near perfect with a full size spare. The Muffler now has a dent from a very high Speed Bump.. NO hole, just dented...When parked she drips slowly Antifreeze and Oil..however, it is literally a drop now and then as I have not put oil or antifreeze in her in two months..DOES NOT BURN/USE Oil..Trans does not leak and shifts smooth....The Air Conditioning Switch to turn it on, which is built into the dash, does not turn compressor, thus we placed a toggle switch under hood to turn the compressor on.. The temp control switch does work as well as the switch to go from ac vents to defroster.. the heat automatically comes on when temp control is placed at a higher temp. AC blows cold, but the fan blows one speed. We have not searched for a new switch or assembly for the dash. I am trying to keep her as original as possible. Thanks for Viewing this American Classic..
