Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Up for sale is a 1942 Chevy ½ Ton Pickup Truck. This truck was pulled from a barn in the heart of California's central valley and has been retained from the grandson of the original owner. It was restored some time ago and appears to be in good condition. All glass is intact and truck appears to have period correct items in place. Paint is holding up well and the body is very good considering its age. Wood bed is nice on both the top and bottom. Window regulators could use some attention. Also, front window pop out does not seem to work properly. The truck still utilizes a 6 volt system, and has a new battery. The 216 ci runs good, may want to obtain new tires as these have some checks from sitting. The truck also shift very well too. Manual juice brakes are working good. Also, one hubcap is missing and oil bath air cleaner. May want to replace muffler as the outside of the muffler has come apart (sounds good though). I also have carpet that will be installed as well (not seen in pictures). I have the pink slip for this truck. Last registered in 1988 thru California DMV. I added a 1947 license plate that I had, I will include the original license plate issue by the state with the sale. I am not an expert in these vintage trucks so please let me know if you have any specific questions or will need additional pictures. Do not wait untill the last minute for questions.
