Up for auction is a lightly used 2006 Saab 9-3. The car was purchased new at Sports Car Centre (Syracuse, NY - http://www.sportscarcentre.com/index.htm) and we are the original owners. The vehicle has no lien against it and we have the clear title in hand for an easy transition. The car has always been maintained to Saab standards, every oil change made with Mobile 1 Fully Synthetic oil, all major service intervals complete, and stored parked in a garage. These cars come very nicely equipped with items like heated power seats, numerous airbags, power sunroof, and much more! A great mix of speed and economy, these sedans are a blast to drive and still maintain average mileage near or at 30 mpg (better on the highway but that is our general average). We recently put brand new tires (cost $1,000) on the "summer" rims that are pictured on the vehicle. Included in the sale is a full set of aluminum (not the cheap steal) rims with more aggressive all-season tires for the winter months. Both sets of rims are Saab rims and not a generic or aftermarket rim. This Saab is also set apart from others with it's Saab dealer installed spoiler, its not flashy but really finishes the tail section of the vehicle and adds to the overall sporty appearance. The overall condition of the vehicle I would rate better then average, paint is nice, interior is clean and odor free, we used the Saab all-weather floor mats and in the trunk are a set of unused essentially new carpet mats. Drives, shifts, and operates smoothly and as it should. With that said this is a used car and there are minor imperfections but nothing unexepcted, the "summer" rims have some corrosion on them but still shine nicely and look very sharp. So, why are we selling? We are a growing family with a toddler, another baby on the way, and now two large dogs. With the new baby on the way we want something a little bigger. Car seats fit very well in the backseat but with two dogs added into the mix we are looking at small SUVs and crossovers. This has been a great car and we hate to see it go, whatever we end up with will not be nearly as much fun to drive as this Saab.
